Still Friends has a sound man!

The SteveFest House Concert featuring Still on The Hill in March was a landmark day for us! It was our first show as a four-piece band: Carrie, Japhy, Tiffiny, and Reed.
It was also our first show with Sam Lutterati running sound for us, on our newly purchased sound equipment. What a refreshing concept: having someone with an experienced ear, out in the audience, monitoring and adjusting our sound for us. No more stressing over turning this up and turning that down from the stage....We welcome and are grateful for Sam's willingness to "play in our sandbox". He loves the science of sound, and we hope we'll continue to make a good match. What a lifesaver. Thanks, Sam!
Woman's Club Summer Concert and Open Mic......
This was a hometown show where we just threw down and did just about every song on our list. We had a bunch of great local musicians open up the stage on the open mic....Michael Haymans, and James Hawkins were among them.
The Rockin' Sausages lit up the stage with a couple of great covers. Folks of all ages, friends of all kinds, danced and hooted and hollered....We all had a real good time.

Memorial Day, 2011
-A couple of good sets there again this year. The chiggers, the sun, all mixed up with amazing musicians and friends made for classic FFF good times....

Cookin' up some new tunes...
We're always itchin' to try new songs. We mess with so many at practice that never make it to any stage for whatever reason. (Usually it involves one of the guys needing to sing harmony and then it dies, due to lack of willingness.) Right now, we have a couple more fresh originals, plus a cover or two that we're working up. Stay tuned!
